Nicole Atkins Flies with 'Vultures'

Tonight's a big night for Nicole Atkins.

The singer/songwriter wills step out onto the stage at San Diego's Soma tonight to warm up the crowd for the Black Keys, a role she will play for the next couple of weeks while on tour with the blues tastemakers.

Those in the audience will have the opportunity to slip into the shadowy world of Mondo Amore, Atkins forthcoming album, for just a little bit. Others will have to wait until the album's January 2011 release date.

But there is no need to fret; Atkins has released "Vultures," the first single from Mondo Amore for free download.
