Suuns Cast a Light 'Up Past the Nursery'

The tension emitted from Suuns' sparse compositions is significant; like a dime-store fire cracker, the lit fuse tickles the nerves but doesn't guarantee combustion.

"Up Past the Nursery," from the Canadian quartet's debut long-player Zeroes QC, is a roller coaster for the anxious, the repetition building and building to a crescendo that is impending, and maybe even imminent.

Zeroes QC will be released on October 12 on Secretly Canadian.
