Garrett Dutton, also known as G. Love, returns on February 22, sans his Special Sauce, for Fixin' to Die. The album, a collection of covers, traditionals, and originals, hearkens back to his country and blues roots.
The fresh, loose release was recorded at Asheville, North Carolina's Echo Mountain Studios and was produced by Seth and Scott Avett. Check out G. Love's reading of the Bukka White-penned title track from the Fixin' to Die below.
G. Love will be on tour throughout the spring, beginning March 1 in Nashville, TN. Check out his tour dates here.
You can also stream a live solo performance from the campus of Ex'pression College for Digital Arts in Emeryville, CA, on February 2nd at 5pm PST at Creative Allies. G. Love will be playing tracks off of the new release.
