Colin Stetson prepares for 'Warfare'

I saw Colin Stetson perform for the first time opening for - and later accompanying - The National in Raleigh, North Carolina. And it was immediately clear that this man knows how to play a horn.

Stetson will release New History Warfare Vol. 2: Judges on February 22. The album features solo horn compositions penned and performed by Stetson, featuring guest vocals from Laurie Anderson and My Brightest Diamond's Shara Worden. The album was recorded with no overdubs or looping, using 24 different mic locations.
